Consider me your freelance Director of Marketing, Graphic Designer and Web Designer all rolled into one! My passion is to advance organizations' missions and maximize their budgets through strategic storytelling. Not only do I lead all advertising/social media campaigns, publicity and public relations, but I also handle the design and production of all print and web materials. I have a master’s degree in Educational Leadership + Policy from Portland State University and over 20 years’ experience in higher education, government and non-profit leadership roles. I’m a high-level thinker with an eye for detail, and enjoy collaborating with executives and teams. I believe there are no mistakes, only learning. I drink too much coffee, swear at times, and thrive in authentic, fun, collaborative environments.

How we got started

In 2013, my life took an abrupt turn. I had worked my way up through OHSU for over a dozen years to become the Director of the School of Medicine's Division of Management, earned my Master's in Educational Leadership & Policy from Portland State University, and had recently become the Director of Programs for Children's Cancer Association. Then I was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer.

Once in remission, my family and I decided it was time to create my own business, so I began providing graphic design services to government, non-profit and higher education organizations. In 2017, I started working more with women entrepreneurs and soon realized that I had more to offer than logos and print design. I re-branded as Bombshell Creative Agency (fitting in so many ways), and now I get to put all my skills and experience to work helping organizations and entrepreneurs become their very best.

My ideal clients are mid-career entrepreneurs who are either creating their dream business or working within an organization they truly love. I provide all the effective marketing strategy and implementation without the overhead of a full-time employee. We do authenticity around here, so ability to laugh while working hard and learning is a must. Appreciation for puns and ability to provide copious amounts of black coffee a plus.
